How Unlocked & Found was Founded
Though Tatiana and Katie didn't know at the time, the Unlocked & Found journey begun in 2024 when they bid on a 5' x 10' storage auction unit in South Florida - and won! They had little idea what they would find inside the unit, and once they unlocked that very first door, they were hooked. A few months and many units later, Unlocked & Found became official!
Together they make an unusually great team. Tatiana is the treasure-finder, while Katie focuses on the logistics. Their passion for networking in the community, learning about all the things they come across, and giving their finds a chance to find new homes has led Unlocked & Found to be a go-to for great deals and specialty finds. Our amazing customers along with Tatiana and Katie's determination to unlock more great finds keep the Unlocked & Found journey going to date.

Who We Are
Unlocked & Found is a 100% family-owned and operated small business. Tatiana and Katie started out buying storage auctions as most do, curiosity turned hobby. Already busy with full-time jobs and three dogs, Tatiana and Katie welcomed baby Cory to the family in 2023! In 2024, Tatiana and Katie officially launched Unlocked & Found in South Florida and soon after expanded to sharing their finds online. Baby Cory has been along for the storage hunt since Unlocked & Found's Day 1 - you may even find him helping out with the family business at some community events or during online shows!
Unfortunately the aftermath of COVID-19 brought hard-times, with many people turning to the resale market for needs that became tougher to fit in the budget, for those who needed to make a little extra money, and for those just trying to make smarter purchases. The post-COVID era expanded online social marketplaces and provided resellers like Unlocked & Found the opportunity to offer their finds to people across the country and worldwide! Not only have Tatiana & Katie been able to reach more buyers, they continue to use Unlocked & Found to support their local community charities via donations. The Why of Unlocked & Found
"For the love of the unknown," is what you'd expect to hear when any storage auction buyer is asked "why." Tatiana and Katie will tell you Unlocked & Found's truth: baby Cory.
Unlocked & Found brings Tatiana and Katie the flexibility to spend more time with baby Cory, Tatiana and Katie also realize baby Cory is growing up in a very digital world (of which, yes, we know Unlocked & Found is a contributor), but they hope to provide baby Cory with physical exploration of the world around him. There's no telling what each storage unit may uncover when its unlocked, and what better way for baby Cory to investigate, play with, learn about, and appreciate all the special finds whether it is something new or old, a machine, a book, a piece of jewelry, a toy, a musical instrument, or piece of artwork. Unlocked & Found is a family business and baby Cory is the CEO.
